Harvest Festival KS1 – Oct 2013

October 4, 2013

Key Stage 1 and 2 children enjoyed celebrating their Harvest Festival at All Saints Church. Parents, carers and extended family all enjoyed listening to the children singing a variety of harvest songs. During the service Reverend Rachael reminded the children of why we celebrate Harvest.

Thank you to all the families for their generous donations of fresh and dried produce. This year we were also very proud to display potatoes and runner beans grown in our school garden. Donations given after the service for fresh produce will go to All Saints Church and our charity this year which is Home Start and the dried produce will go to the Salvation Army. The children in Foundation Stage will be celebrating harvest in school next Tuesday where parents and carers are welcome to join us.
