Year 3 Visit to Verulamium Museum – 6th December

December 16, 2013

The Year 3 children had a fantastic time at VerulamiumMuseum. They learnt a great deal from the artefacts handling session, becoming detectives solving what the different objects may have been used for.  The children had the opportunity to explore the museum and further their understanding of what life was like for Romans living in Britain. They created their own colourful, symmetrical mosaics and saw what a hypocaust system would have looked like.
