Year 3 PE with Ashlyns students 14.11.14

November 18, 2014

Greenway School have been continuing to forge community links with the local secondary school, Ashlyns. Our Year 3 classes were very fortunate to have a visit from the Year 10 pupils, who came to organise a fun and engaging PE multi-skills afternoon.  48 students came to work with small groups of children who took part in a carousel of activities, working on specific sports skills and collaboration.  The afternoon included a range of rugby, football, basketball, tennis, volleyball and athletics based tasks.  The Year 10 pupils were excellent role models to the Greenway children and both schools enjoyed the event!
