Year 3 Verulamium Museum visit, 17.11.14

November 18, 2014

Year 3 went on an educational visit to the Verulamium Museum in St Albans. The children were really engaged in handling artefacts from the Roman period and guessing their purpose.  They also had the opportunity to dress up as a Roman and build their own mosaic.  In small groups they took part in a quiz to answer questions about recreation, merchants, markets, food, farming and life in the home.  A remarkable Roman experience was had by all!  Thank you to all  the parents who volunteered.
