The Year 5 Sharing Assembly on 25th November was a sobering affair, as the children in Spruce and Sycamore showcased the wealth of learning they have done about Remembrance and the First World War.A captivated audience was taken through the political events leading to the outbreak of war, the impact on those expected to sign up and the day to day reality of war for the soldiers in the trenches. Well done to all the staff and children in Year 5!
