Year 3 visit to Verulamium, 31.10.17

November 3, 2017

Beech class had an amazing time visiting St Albans on Tuesday 31st October. We went to see the mosaic in the park and visited the Roman outdoor theatre. It was great seeing the excavation site and learning about the hypocaust and mosaics. We then had our lunch in the park and played outside. It was great going into the Roman Verulamium museum and then having an interactive education session where we could hold real Roman objects. Some of us even got to dress up! The children behaved very well and enjoyed a great day of interactive and fun learning!
