David Gauke visit, 15.6.18

Groups of future politicians from Years 5 and 6 had the opportunity to meet their local MP David Gauke on Friday 15th June.

They asked a wide range of questions including: should the government limit the time that children spend on computers; should Britain continue to sell arms to Saudi Arabia because of their role in the Yemen and what do you think of Jeremy Corbyn?

This is Mr Gauke’s second visit to Greenway and he distinctly remembers the ‘grilling’ he got last time! He was very impressed by the knowledge of current affairs that our children demonstrated.
