30 Hour Nursery Provision

30 Hour Nursery Provision

All Nursery aged children are entitled to 15 hours of free early education. Greenway provides this provision from 9am-noon each day.

Greenway also offers 30 hours of high quality free early education to eligible families. The 30 hours free childcare is designed to help working families by reducing the cost of childcare and to support parents into work or to work more hours. We believe that the additional time in our setting will also help to further develop your child’s readiness for school.

Should you wish to take advantage of this, our Nursery will offer 30 hours of high quality early education, run by a qualified teacher, between the hours of 9am and 3pm.  Lunchtime will operate during the day between 12pm and 1pm. You will be requested to provide your child with a packed lunch. School provides a snack in the morning at no extra cost to yourselves. School will also provide a snack of fruit and milk/water in the afternoon should your child stay on for these additional hours.

If you are not eligible for 30 hours funding then it should be possible (dependant on numbers applying) to offer you some paid for afternoon sessions.

What our parents say…

“I feel that 30 hours will be key in preparing my son for full school days in reception and will make the transition in September so much easier for him – & for me.”

We’ve increased the afternoon sessions gradually throughout the school year and Greenway have allowed us the flexibility to do so at my child’s own pace.”

It’s enabled me to take on more work safe in the knowledge he is happy, learning lots and having fun!

My Son has benefitted enormously by attending nursery and Greenway, we do a mixture of shorter and longer days, which really helps us with the juggle. He’s made some great friends, loves his teachers and it’s such a great grounding for reception. We couldn’t be happier.
