Dacorum Dance Competion March 2019
On Friday 29th March children in Year 6 competed in this year’s Dacorum Schools dance competition at Hemel Hempstead Sports Centre. Their piece – entitled ‘Brain Freeze’ and choreographed by Mrs Bennett – explored the emotions surrounding the anxieties we have all felt when taking school tests! The children’s extremely accomplished and mature performance was sensational on the night and their commitment and resilience during the rehearsal process equally inspiring. They performed in front of a huge crowd and were undaunted when, slightly in shock, they had to perform again ….following the announcement that they were the competition’s winners!
