Nursery end of Spring Term 2022

World Book Day, Spring; New Life & Growth, Shrove Tuesday!

We have been busy in Nursery and thought you would like to see some of the things we have been learning about.

We loved celebrating World Book Day in Nursery! The children looked amazing in their costumes and the books they brought in linked to our theme of ‘celebrating differences’ and were excellent! Thank you to all the parents for the wonderful costumes.

We are exploring new life and growth. We have been on spring walks to look and listen for signs of spring, observing and creating spring flowers and blossom and planting hyacinth bulbs and beans. We are so excited to see them grow!

We have been learning about Lent and Easter. The children concentrated hard when preparing fruit for our pancakes on Shrove Tuesday and loved eating them afterwards!

Reverend Rachael kindly visited us to talk about Easter and we have been exploring how Christians celebrate this, along with Easter crafts and other exciting activities… which are yet to take place…
