Table Tennis Regional Finals 10th February
The Greenway Girls Under 11 team took part at this year’s regional finals for table tennis on Sunday 10th February. They were set to play 3 other schools with the best team progressing to the National finals in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
It was also nice to see so many ex-Greenway pupils at the event who are still playing table tennis with their respective schools. The Ashlyns and Chesham teams had to battle it out with ex-team mates facing off against each other. 6 players from these two teams had previously played in Greenway teams.
Greenway was crowned the winners after beating the other 3 teams! They will now head to the National finals next month. Well done to Hazel, Georgie B, Ellie, Katie and Georgie F (who had to step in for her ill sister).
