Greenway Science Competition Summer 2019
There was an impressive response to the call for entries to our 2019 Science Competition (launched on Science Day). Children from every year group entered and the range of topics they covered and their presentations were fascinating. It was almost impossible to pick winners- they were all excellent. However, the overall winners were: Evie Bird and Maisie Johnson (Year 6) for their investigation into alternatives for plastic; Esme Hanbidge (Year 3) for her investigation into which garden flowers are preferred by bees; William Baylay-Ray (Year 2) who told us why hot air balloons float and Alice Millar (Reception) who made eggs bounce!
Well done Greenway- you are super Scientists!
