Reception Home Learning/Activities

We have put together a selection of games you can play at home. Choose the ones you and your child will enjoy most. Remember you probably have fantastic board games at home which involve counting and social skills such as taking turns. Sometimes the old favourites such as eye-spy etc. are the best fun, especially for understanding initial sounds in words. Continue to read stories together, perhaps in a reading den that you create together. We will include a playdough recipe as the children love making this in school.

Enjoy reading a range of e-books with https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/for-home/reading-owl/library-page , alphablocks on youtube allow you to practise each sound and check out numberblocks!

Have fun!
