Girl’s Football, 07.06.22
Our Girls A football team have had a dramatic end to their season. Firstly, they went to the infamous Wix Cup for the best teams from each district in Dacorum. Greenway were selected and did not disappoint. Phenomenal displays saw Greenway reach the Wix cup final. The final proved a tough game as Greenway were beaten 3-2. A fantastic achievement for the team, now top 2 in Hertfordshire.
Finally, the season came to a close with our Girls A team reach the finals for the district cup after winning their group stages and the semi final (6-1). The team put in a huge final effort to run out 5-1 winners in the final. They were crowned the district champions for just the 2nd time in Greenway’s history!
