Year 2 and Year 5 Teams Visit to Berkhamsted Science Fair
The Berkhamsted Partnership is a group of local schools involved in a project funded by The Ogden Trust. Small groups of children from each of these schools were invited to visit Ashlyns for a Science Fair on 11th July 2022. The Ogden Trust funded the event and the purpose was to enhance the teaching and learning of Physics.
While at Ashlyns, the children shared their solutions to problems that they have been working on at school with other children of the same age as well as students from Year 7 and 12.
These were the problems that they were asked to solve:
The Year 2: How can we clean up space?
Year 5: ‘Keeping Warm in Space’.
Everyone voted for the solution that they liked best and the Year 5 team were voted the best in KS2.
