Cross Country Event, 26.01.23
On Thursday 26th January, our year 4 cross country team of: Alice, Meade, Matilda, Patrick, Finley L, Finlay L and Leo took part in a cross country event at Lockers Park School. All put in a fantastic run, showing determination and perseverance on a very tricky course. Strong runs from Finley L and Leo saw them finish 2nd and 3rd respectively. Alice and Finlay L managed to finish in the top 10 and then Meade, Matilda and Patrick came shortly after to complete a close grouping for Greenway. After a short wait, we saw Finley L and Leo get their medals for their podium finishes. Finally, Greenway were crowned the Under 9 winners! Well done to all involved!
