Berkhamsted Science Quiz 3rd July 2023

Small teams from Year 2 and Year 5 visited Ashlyns School and took part in the Berkhamsted Fun Science Quiz along with children from local schools. They completed a range of activities: building the slowest marble run; making towers with spaghetti; quiz questions; describing challenges and orienteering in the school grounds. The Year 5 children came first in the KS2 competition and the Year 2 children came third (but only by one point!) in the KS1 competition. All the children demonstrated excellent teamwork, persevered with everything and had great fun!
