Ogden Trust Visit March 2024

Years 4 and 6 had a visit from Ogden Trust Teacher Fellow, Mr Allen.

He taught Year 6 to programme a micro:bit (a tiny pocket sized computer) to play a version of the classic game Space Invaders.

Year 4 built an accelerometer (like a step-counter) on the micro:bit to generate electricity!

Both session had cross-curricular connection to physics and circuits as well as being great fun.

Mr Allen will be returning later this year to work with other year groups.
