Summer Camp 2024
Thank you to all the children who came and supported our Summer Camp 2024! This was our 5th year running the camp and we hope your children enjoyed the activities on offer. The weather was amazing this year and we managed to run all of our planned outdoor activities every day.
Art and craft activities included hand painted Batik style tea towels during the first week and pottery pots and individually designed and decorated aprons in the second and third weeks. We also had fun making our own cheesy garlic bread, sweet bread iced buns with sprinkles, blondies, snickerdoodles and focaccia. We all loved the baking activities and hopefully your children enjoyed learning some new skills and were proud of their achievements. We did seem to pick the hottest days of the year to have all the ovens on but proving bread in 30 degree heat was a huge success!
The children loved playing hide and seek and ‘it’ outside, using the whole school grounds and we were very impressed with everyone’s behaviour and maturity, particularly some of the younger children who were new to holiday camps.
We finished off the final day with ‘Just dance’ in the hall and music and games. We hope you enjoy looking at some of the photo and we will keep you posted on plans for 2025!
